A Chico State student went missing Monday, and the Gridley-Biggs Police Department is seeking assistance in finding her, the department said in a press release.
Veronica Guzman, 19, reportedly left her home in Biggs at 1 p.m. to attend classes at Chico State. University Police confirmed Guzman left a class at 4 p.m., according to the press release issued by the Gridley-Biggs Police Department.
Family members expected her home at 5 p.m. and said it is unusual for Guzman to not call when she will be late, the press release said. No one has seen or heard from her since she left campus.
She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black "Chico State University" sweatshirt. She was driving a 1999 forest green Honda CRV without a license plate number. She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, wears glasses and has brown hair and eyes.
Anyone with information about Guzman or her whereabouts is asked to call the Gridley-Biggs Police Department at 846-5678.
