New A.S. president plans for next year
Eller ran for election to be more involved

Junior Jesse Eller is training to run in the Bay to Breakers 12K race and is the newly elected Associated Students president.
Eller, 22, decided to run for president to become more involved with the university after interning at the Cross Cultural Leadership Center and being a leadership consultant for the California State Student Association, he said.
"I want to make sure my siblings, friends and fellow students have the opportunity to get the best educational experience possible," he said.
He goes to Corning as much as possible to see his family including his younger sister, sophomore Ashley, who is taking a semester off, and younger brother, Bo, who will be transferring to Chico in the fall.
Junior Marcus Hollan, Eller's campaign manager, said Eller has always wanted to serve in leadership positions. Hollan has been Eller's friend for more than four years.
"It was just a matter of time before it would happen for him," Hollan said.
Former A.S. president Osazee Edebiri thinks Eller is more than qualified for his new position.
"Jesse is really on top of things," he said. "He is always asking a million questions to make sure he is doing everything to the best of his ability, and I know he will progress well into his position."
Eller wants to make students more aware of what is going on politically and socially at the university.
"I want to make sustainability, diversity and student awareness more visible and relevant on Chico State's campus," he said.
Eller, an agricultural business major, plans to attend graduate school in Florida after he graduates and then join the Peace Corps.
He works as a teller at Wells Fargo bank, likes to hike in Bidwell Park, go four wheeling and spend time with his friends.
Eller is excited to bring about change and make the campus more cohesive.
"I want the students to know that I'm an authentic, selfless leader who is a voice for them and this university," he said.

As long as hillary does not get in we will be ok.
