Textual relationships save students from heartbreak

What feeling is worse than those procured from love? Rejection. I've never actually experienced either emotion, but almost any song on the radio is bound to contain one or the other - and it all sounds awful. Some people have unhealthy ways of overcompensating with an abundance of either of the above.
Accepting diversity essential on campus

Nobody likes hiding in the shadows. For the most part, people can be pretty vocal about who they are and what they represent, but there seems to be one group whose voice could be heard a bit louder: the gay community. A myriad of clubs and organizations on campus are dedicated to the many interests and issues students feel passionate about.
Social boundaries unjustly busted in name of art

Sometimes I wonder if I could make some serious cash by going down to the craft store, buying some acrylic paints, splattering them across a canvass and calling my painting "Feeling Blue" or "Ocean Mist" and pricing it at $350. Then if someone bought my ridiculous painting, I could prove the word "art" has lost its meaning.
University faces fascist policies

The term "fascism" has kind of become a pejorative word in the 21st century. Right-wingers swung the word around when environmentalists proposed banning the sale of incandescent lightbulbs in favor of more efficient compact fluorescent lightbulbs. They have even gone so far as to make up new words such as "Islamofacism," and "Islamofascist" to paint an even darker image of the enemy the United States faces in its war on terror.

Thumbs up to the rain for making jogging a little sexier. Thumbs down to pedestrians who exploit the right-of-way rule. A little hustle couldn't hurt anyone and jaywalking is illegal. Get out of the road sweetheart. Thumbs up to a creative voicemail-greeting message.
