Thumbs up to Slurpees. Tasty goodness for under two bucks equates to sugar-coma happiness.



Thumbs down to people who quit their jobs in the middle of a drive-thru. Working at McDonald's is bad enough, I dread the thought of what the replacement job could be.



Thumbs up to gas prices. Finally, a little extra spending cash.



Thumbs down to dimly lit stairwells. The combination of a lack of light with gray carpet is a recipe for disaster.



Thumbs up to the plight of others. What was once the slaughtering of Indians has become a week off for students. Sweet.



Thumbs down to bad breath. Most people aren't aware of their affliction, so everyone should carry gum around. Crisis averted.



Thumbs up to Hillary Clinton being considered for secretary of state. Ah, sweet vindication.



Thumbs down to pirates. The real life ones are ruining my Disney-induced image. And it's an unpleasant reality.
