Butte County Public Health and the Office of Diversity organized the event, which was held in front of the Bell Memorial Union Monday. A crowd of about 50 students, professors, residents and city officials gathered at the candlelight vigil to pay homage accompanied by the World AIDS Day choir of Chico State.
