Back in the old days when many college dorms had a men's wing and a women's wing, Mona M. wanted to meet some of the neighboring knights in the men's wing. Mona looked up Morse code and began flashing her room light off and on at night to send messages. "Hi! My name is Mona . . ."
Fortunately, we live in less formal times and you don't have to take such elaborate measures to meet people. But what do you do to make friends when you're new to college? Well, here's what some of the people around you are doing or have done.
