Graduating seniors find careers, new states to reside in

Some seniors at Chico State seem to have a better idea of what direction they're moving in than others. Julia Bersinger, a French and communications major, is hoping to be a yoga instructor, and Bryce McAnally, a media arts senior and broadcast radio station employee, is already planning on starting out in commercials.
One student I spoke with plans on moving to Tacoma, Wash., and working for Hewlett Packard when she graduates. Melody Hayden is currently a junior majoring in electrical engineering. She admits there is still plenty of time to change her mind, and Bristow agrees she probably will.
You are not alone. Not only are there other seniors in your position, but there are also people who can help you. Remember that you are not the first person to go through this, and you should consider the ideas and professional advice from the resources available to you.

Bristow agrees. People figure out what they want to do based on
three things: interests, skills and values. Bristow explained that
interests and skills are more consistent than values. A person's
values vary depending on whether they "want to save the world" or
simply get a job to pay the rent.
